Terms & Service Policy
Website pricing and service terms.
This page explains what each plan includes, how monthly billing works, what support covers, and what happens if service is canceled.
Service Overview
Managed websites for local trade businesses.
Faircrest Studios designs, launches, and manages websites for local trade businesses. Each plan combines an initial website build with ongoing hosting, SSL, maintenance, support, and an annual edit allowance.
Standard Website Plan
$500 website build. $50/month website service.
The $500 build fee is due before launch unless another payment option is agreed in writing. Monthly website service begins at launch and is required to keep the managed website online.
Monthly Website Service
What the $50 monthly payment covers.
Monthly service covers managed hosting, SSL, keeping the website online, basic technical support, and up to 120 minutes of website edits each year.
Billing details and the payment date are confirmed before launch. Recurring card payments begin only after the client has agreed to them.
Optional Monthly Start Plan
$75/month with no upfront build fee.
Clients who prefer a lower upfront cost may choose the Monthly Start Plan. The website build and ongoing website service are included for $75 per month.
After 36 consecutive monthly payments, the price reduces to $50 per month.
The plan can be canceled before the next billing period. If it ends before 36 payments, the website will be taken offline unless a separate transfer or continued-use agreement is approved and paid.
Included Edit Allowance
Two hours of website edits each year.
The monthly service includes up to 120 minutes of edit time during each 12-month service period. It can be used for text changes, image replacements, basic layout adjustments, form updates, and similar maintenance.
What Counts as Edit Time
How edit time is measured.
Edit time includes reviewing the request, making the change, testing it on desktop and mobile, publishing it, and confirming completion.
Chargeable Work Beyond Included Time
Extra work is approved before it begins.
Once the annual edit allowance has been used, additional work is priced separately. Faircrest Studios will provide a written quote for approval before starting.
No additional work is billed without the client's approval.

Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate business information, service details, contact details, approved text and images, and permission to use all supplied content.
Ownership
Clients retain ownership of their business name, logo, supplied text, supplied images, and any domain registered in their name.
Faircrest Studios retains ownership of its templates, code structure, design systems, processes, and reusable components.
Faircrest Studios plans are managed website services. The client may use the completed website while all applicable build fees are paid and monthly website service remains active.
Domain and Website Transfer
A client may request a domain transfer when the account is paid in full. Website migration, file export, and rebuild assistance are not included in monthly service and require a separate quote.
No Lead or Ranking Guarantees
Faircrest Studios does not guarantee leads, sales, inquiries, revenue, Google rankings, search visibility, ad performance, or business results. The website is designed to present the business professionally and make it easier for customers to get in touch.
Third-Party Services
Faircrest Studios may use third-party domain, hosting, SSL, mapping, analytics, form, booking, plugin, and website-platform services. Faircrest Studios is not responsible for outages, policy changes, price changes, or interruptions caused by those providers.
Suspension and Cancellation
If a monthly payment remains unpaid after notice and any agreed grace period, the website may be suspended or taken offline. Clients may cancel future service before the next billing period unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise.
Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable once the website has launched, hosting has been activated, or a domain has been purchased.
Referral Discount
When a referred trade business launches with Faircrest Studios, the referring client receives 20% off the standard monthly website service fee for 12 billing periods during the referring client's second service year. The discount applies to website service only and has no cash value.
Portfolio Use
Faircrest Studios may display completed websites, screenshots, and project descriptions in its portfolio, marketing, or case studies unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Limitation of Liability
Faircrest Studios is not liable for lost profits, lost leads, lost revenue, data loss, search-ranking changes, third-party downtime, or problems caused by supplied content, incorrect information, or external services.
Before you begin
Need clarification on a website plan?
Ask before launch if any part of the pricing, service, ownership, or cancellation terms is unclear. A signed agreement takes priority where one is provided.
